Senior Accountant - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

Location: Tampa, FL | Employment Type: Full-Time

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a Senior Accountant for a growing organization. This role will focus on balance sheet reconciliations, payroll accruals, and month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

$85,000-$95,000

Key Responsibilities

• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances
• Prepare and review payroll accruals (wages, bonuses, PTO, benefits)
• Support month-end and year-end close, including journal entries
• Analyze account fluctuations and maintain audit-ready documentation
• Collaborate with payroll and HR teams for accurate reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Strong experience with reconciliations and payroll accounting
• Knowledge of GAAP and proficiency in Excel
• ERP system experience preferred
